APPLICATION
lektromagnetic drum separators are designed for continuous separation of ferromagnetic contamination from loose and particulate materials transported on rubber belt conveyors, which also as the drive drums.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The OEB elektromagnetic drum separators are powered from AC mains through rectifiers. The elektric current flowing in the coils creates a constant magnetic field around the drum. Ferromagnetic contamination, transported together with the aggregate, enters the working zone, where it is attracted by the drum. Outside the magnetic field the contamination drops off the conveyor belt.
