Grinding-polishing machines SZP
APPLICATION
The grinding-polishing machines are designed for finish grinding of surfaces of various metal parts (castings, forgings, stamped elements, objects worked by means of cutting tools, etc.) and of plastics. Furthermore, it is suitable for polishing requiring high smoothness of surfaces and for preparing metal part surfaces for electroplating and obtaining the required lustre. Such a wide range of technological operations is ensured by the application of various kinds of tools, namely:
- felt polishing wheels with abrasive materials glued on their circumference;
- woven fabric polishing wheels sewn of layers of cloth, linen or flannel
- polishing brushes made in the form of disc with animal hair, seaweed, brass or steel thin wire on their circumference
- various hand-operated special tools for polishing of silver or gold plated objects
Depending on the operation and material of the polished object, various abrasive compounds made according special recipe are applied. Both the grinding-polishing machines are adapted for mounting on them an attachment (with a shield) for grinding by means of an abrasive belt – type GZPP-50x2500, GZPP-100x2500 or GZPP-50x3000 instead of a grinding wheel with a shield.
Mounting of standard grinding wheels on the machine spindle is forbidden.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The working wheel (for grinding or polishing) is mounted on the spindle driven by an electric motor. The working wheel is located in a metal shield provided with a stub pipe for connecting to the dedusting equipment. The grinder-polisher is equipped with a complete electrical system. The drive is controlled from a control desk located on the front body wall. Each of the spindles of the two-stand grinder-polisher has the drive and control independent. The two-stand grinder is produced in four versions shown on drawing.
The grinding-polishing machine SZP (two-stands version) can be made in four versions:
- make I - Grinder-polisher with two polishing wheels – basic arragement
- make II-Grinder-polisher with two attachements for grinding with an abrasive belt
- make III-Grinder-polisher with a polishing wheel on the right spindle and with an attachment on the left one
- make IV-Grinder-polisher with a polishing wheel on the left spindle and with an attachment on the right one
