Magnetic belt separators OET

APPLICATION
Electromagnetic belt separators are designed for continuous separation of ferromagnetic contamination from loose and particulate materials, especially in circulating moulding sand transported on rubber belt conveyors. They are mounted transversely over the conveyor belt.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The elektromagnetic belt separator creates a magnetic field, which attracts ferromagnetic contamination from the moulding sand being transported on the belt conveyor under the separator. The ferromagnetic contamination is then carried out of the magnetic field area and dropped off from the conveyor belt to a container.
